14 x 6 x 1/2" Poplar

Another poplar shell that looks and sounds incredible!  This 14 x 6 x 1/2" sports a DW throw  with a 5 position butt plate that allows easy snare wire adjustments.  The finish is Danish Oil dark walnut with many coats of lacquer.  Poplar drum shells deliver a warm, balanced, and punchy tone with boosted low-end frequencies and smooth highs. Because it is a softer, low-density wood, it produces a dry, controlled sound with a focused resonance that sits beautifully in a mix.  This shell can be tuned low which provides incredibly "fat" backbeats and bass tone, or high which yields a precise, quick response with rapid decay.
