14 x 5.5 x 3/8" 70 year old Maple

Solid Maple stave snare drum made with 70 year old maple. This drum sounds incredible. Has Yamaha lugs and throw. 14 x 5.5 x 3/8".

Maple wood drum shells are the industry standard for acoustic drums, prized for an even balance of high and mid-range frequencies and a warm, punchy low-end. They are highly versatile, offering great resonance and sensitivity whether used for a full kit or a snare.

The Maple used for this shell was repurposed from a 70 year old table that was in my wife's family.  The wood is incredibly beautiful.
